This time next month, we'll be well into the first week of our 18 night cruise. There's a lot of planning that goes into one of our 'expeditions', even if it's a cruise.
A full day of flying, north to Japan, barely a time zone change, so that will be nice, still tiring though. We have tickets to a baseball game in Tokyo, very excited about that!
We've never done a cruise that's so port heavy, the first full day is one at sea, followed by 6 port days in a row! Then a sea day, a day in Yokohama (turn around day, the end of one cruise and the start of the next) then on with the next leg. A little less intensive though. 2 full days at sea, followed by an overnight stay in Keelung (for Taipei) 2 days/ports in the southern Japanese islands, another 2 days at sea then back to Yokohama.
I think there'll be more time for relaxing on the second leg. Our home away from home will be the Diamond Princess, our 4th Princess cruise.
